rugs and pads to sell

First let me say my husband and I like nice things, but can't always afford what we want at the moment. Certain things I won't compromise on where quality is concerned, and area rugs is one. We need a rug for our bedroom after tearing out our old carpet and laying down laminate. I didn't want to buy just any old rug because although I could of bought something cheap (u get what u pay for type of cheap), I didn't want to get something that was temporary. I've looked at Home Goods, where we found our living room rug, Macy's, Lowe's etc, but nothing compared to what I fell in love with......a Shaw grid block multiShaw Impressions Grid Block Multi Rectangle 7'8" x 10'10" rug, but it was over $700 even at our local Ashley's. I just couldn't put out that money now or justify paying that much for an area rug. I came across this Rizzy blue rug and saw the price which was $226 for the 8'x10'. Other sites I went to that carried this same exact rug was $700 or more with the exception of another seller on Amazon for about $600. I couldn't pass it up. Our bedroom has blueish, grey walls and the furniture is dark brown and the floor is a lighter cherry Armstrong laminate. So the decor is fairly boring. The Shaw rug would of been a nice addition with the different colors, but again, the price was too much for us at this time. I bought the Rizzy JR-0679 because I figure if we don't love it, it can go in our office (2nd bedroom). I will certainly update this review once it arrives. It's wool which means it is probably fairly plush. I couldn't find a review on it anywhere which was a little annoying, but I'll take my chances. I've looked at cheap rugs before, and that's exactly what they are...cheap. I hope I did good on this one. I'm sorry this review isn't about the quality of the rug, but look for more info real soon.UPDATE:I received the rug yesterday! This is a nice rug! It is wool, so it has the nice finished backing unlike cheaper rugs that have the stiff backing. No need for a area rug anti slip pad. This is going under the bed, so it won't move anyway. Perhaps all wool rugs have the nicer backing. I know my living room rug does. Anyway, the picture is fairly accurate for the coloring. I added one pic for now. I took it at night, so I may take another one during the day. Some sites show this rug with much brighter or richer colors. It's not bright at all. It's very subdued or muted, but in a good way. They call it blue, but I would say the colors are more greenish. The blue color is the darker part and it's like a slate or dark blue. Still nice though. I vacuumed it 3 Dyson upright canisters worth (6 total). I had to do half at a time due to limited space. Being that it's wool, I believe it will always shed. I noticed some of the yarn surfacing (sticking out) as I vacuumed, but it's a powerful vacuum, so I assume these threads may not be tied in as well. It is hand loomed, so it won't be perfect. The pile is nice and thick. It came double wrapped in thick clear plastic. Even though I was very lucky to get the price I did, I still feel the price on Amazon now is a steal! Look on other sites and you will pay well over $700. Some sites are over $800. I never thought I would buy something like this online. Especially a 8x10 area rug which would always be something I would want to see before I bought it. I have no regrets at all.
